My first homemade skirt!

Oh I love sewing! I don't know why I've waited so long to make something I could actually wear! I have made bags, purses and all sorts of pretty little things but never a skirt :)
Well, that is no longer the case. This lovely summer skirt was finished yesterday - Yes, I'm making summer clothes... during the Winter. Just thought it would be easier to try something with a light and thin fabric. Plus, thinking of summer brings back a smile to my face... (It is seriously cold today...)

Ok, back to the skirt. It is basically what is called an A-line skirt - possibly the simplest way to make a nice skirt :)
I really enjoyed and hope to make many more! Here are the photos.
